Accessibility statement

A B Musani And Company aims to make www.abmco.in usable for everyone, including visitors who rely on assistive technology, keyboard navigation, or alternative input devices. This page describes the standards we follow, the features we currently ship, and how to reach us if something is hard to use.

Conformance target

We design and build www.abmco.in to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Our internal QA pass includes manual keyboard-only walks, screen-reader smoke tests (NVDA and VoiceOver), and contrast checks for every new component.

Features for assistive technology

  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first focusable element on every page.
  • All interactive controls are reachable and operable using the keyboard alone, in a logical tab order.
  • Every form field has a programmatically associated<label>and a visible error message when validation fails.
  • Icon-only buttons carry anaria-labelor visible text. Decorative icons are hidden witharia-hidden.
  • Motion and scroll behaviour respect theprefers-reduced-motionuser preference.
  • Focus is always visible — a 2px outline ring plus 2px offset on every focusable element.
  • Page structure uses semantic landmarks (<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>) so screen-reader users can jump between regions.
  • All text meets the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimum of 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text).

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address each one:

  • Some PDF checklists are generated as images. Where a PDF is essential, we also publish the same content as a tagged, accessible HTML page.
  • Embedded YouTube videos include captions where uploaded by the publisher. If a video lacks captions, please tell us so we can request them.
  • The cookie-consent banner is keyboard-operable but uses an animation. The animation is suppressed automatically when the visitor prefers reduced motion.

Compatibility

www.abmco.in is tested with the latest two stable releases of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. The site is also tested with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS / iOS.
